At the same time, the latch of the active leaf lock is pushed back and a blocking mechanism pushed into the bolt cut-out of the shoot bolt lock. The shoot bolt rods are pushed out of the shoot bolt lock by spring pressure after actuation of the lever handle and the blocking mechanism in the bolt cut-out retracted. Only when the inactive leaf is fully locked can the bolt of the active leaf lock be pre-locked.
